Charming country home sitting on a gorgeous private lot, beautifully landscaped, featuring an in-ground swimming pool, a detached garage, a workshop and a large shed.
The house features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two Norwegian wood stoves and a large remodeled kitchen. Hardwood and ceramic floors throughout (no carpet at all). Well over $150,000 was invested in renovations (kitchen, bathrooms, electricity, plumbing, insulation, windows, central vacuum, central air conditioning, "Carrier" two-speed natural gas forced-air furnace, generator powered emergency electrical system, etc., etc.). Everything is high quality, extra clean and well maintained !
Three schools (two francophones and one anglophone), a police station and the Ottawa river are located within walking distance from the house. City bus (line 45 and 53) and a beautiful bicycle path leading to Ottawa are also nearby.
Aylmer is a very nice, quiet, safe, bilingual and family oriented community with affordable electricity, insurance, property taxes and child care system. Hard to find a better place to live at less than 10 Km from the Parliament Hill !
