After 216 days on the market, we finally sold today at 9PM, Lots of preparations, staging, emotional investments, directional signs, countless adds on free websites Kijiji and Craiglist, 52 phone call and 46 visit. We almost sold 3 times, but buyers couldn't get the bank approval, always ask for bank pre approval before negotiating anything. The buyer who bought our house, took 5 weeks to finally finish the process, we will meet in 4 weeks to sign at the Notary. Though we buyer brought an agent to do the negotiation on his behalf, we still ended up saving 16K than if we sold with an agent. This is one of the positive things of selling with DuProprio, you dictate the percentage you are willing to give to the agent. If I to give some tips, it would be: 1- DuProprio really works. 2- Your house sells it self, and no one knows your house better than your self. 3- Open house, Open house, Open house, we had 2 months of continues open house till we ended up selling. 4- Allot of traffic came from Kijiji and Craiglist. 5- Be patient and hold to your guns when it comes to pricing, of course you have to do your homework and price your house fairly. 6- We had 2 competitor houses in the neighbour, one of them changed agents 3 times and still didn't sell. The other just changed agent. At the end, I would really recommend DuProprio, and I would use it again.

As a real estate agent in the 1980's I was particularly impressed with the marketing and legal documents available.
